French national treasure plant, first appeared in the 1837 "French Pharmacopoeia", French sailors would take sea fennel with the sea to deal with sunburn or wounds.
This plant, which is native to the coast of Brittany, France, has a reputation as "the most eco-friendly maintenance ingredient of the 21st century." Because the roots must absorb nutrients from the coast to face the harsh terrestrial environment, they develop a unique life system. Though hardy, sea fennel only grows in spring.
Because it is difficult to grow and extremely scarce, it is included in the French restricted mining of plants.Inhibits the NF-κB inflammatory signaling pathway, improves collagen expression in a state of inflammatory aging, and combats inflammatory aging; promotes the production of type IV collagen, strengthens the desmoplastic junction (DEJ) structure, suppresses the overexpression of KLK7 following barrier damage, fortifies the basal layer, repairs the skin barrier, and maintains skin homeostasis.
